This 3rd Annual fundraising event for the Elkhart County Symphony will be held at a new time at the Northern Indiana Event Center. More than 20 breweries and wineries will be present, providing tastes of their favorite brews. Entertainment will be provided by Symphony musicians and local food trucks will have their specialties available for purchase.
The Diggers are a duo with John Sullivan on guitar/vocals and Bill Misiuk on bass/vocals doing Irish and celtic music favorites. Join us for our free Wednesday Music Series!
Cincinnati’s Jeremy Pinnell is country music in its purest form. Pinnell’s music presents a worldview bred of a hard and honest life combing foot stomping honky-tonk rhythms with lyrics heartbreakingly true. Jeremy and his voice are always at the center, but with his band’s backing and Junior’s guitar licks on display the songs transcend to a new level only earned through hours spent on the stages of dives and honky-tonks.

“Young Ritual is a Mid-Michigan Indie/Alternative solo project started by Dylan Grantham that writes very specific songs. A lyrical descendant of Randy Newman, Bob Dylan, Conor Oberst, believing that what makes beautiful art is leaving a part of yourself out in the open. Love, loss, and shame—those are universal experiences that we may not always want to talk about, but we can’t avoid. While we won’t avoid them, we can take ownership of those experiences and turn them into a source of power. Take your heartbreak and sprinkle some glitter on it. Within the first 3 years of existence, Young Ritual has shared stages with artists like Chris Farren, Current Joys, and Soccer Mommy, while becoming known in Mid-Michigan as one of its most exciting young songwriters and performers.”
From his bio: “Adam Lee’s life is movement. As a military kid, Adam called many different places home. His music does the same. His first solo release, ‘Sincerely, Me’ reflects all of this. Roots-rock songwriter Justin Wells sums it up: “Somebody’s gonna file this album under Americana, but that’s because Adam Lee isn’t a genre…the record nods at several American musics without knowing the meaning of derivative.””

Originally hailing from Kentucky, Molly is a classically-trained vocalist and percussionist with experience in opera and bluegrass alike. Goshen-based Americana roots rock band, Shiny Shiny Black, is a local favorite with masterful lyrics and an amazing capability to put on both a show that’s both intimate and a rocking good time!
Indie folk musician Anna p.s. conveys a sense of weariness throughout her simple yet resonant songs, but it’s a weariness that keeps a blanket of hope tucked up under its chin, even as the rain keeps falling outside the windows. Grace always lurks around the corner on tunes that layer delicate vulnerability over the hearty stock of this songwriters’ spirit.

Join us for a socially-distanced concert on the parking lot at GBCo. You’ll be able to reserve spots for groups of up to 2, 4, or 6 people. Tickets go on sale Friday, 8/21 at noon on the GBCo website. Tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.
Bring a mask, lawn chairs, and your own food. We will have cans of GBCo beer for sale. Please NO tents, grills, or outside alcohol. People must stay in their reserved spots during the concert and GBCo staff will deliver the beer to your group.

Avant Garde Cellist and vocalist Jordan Hamilton merges musical styles to tell stories of the human experience through a variety of musical genres. Also a member of Last Gasp Collective and the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Jordan can be found performing primarily in the Midwest where he has opened for national acts such as Eric Roberson and Nappy Roots. His most recent release “My Thoughts are” is a compilation of thoughts that express themselves in Hip Hop, Folk, and soul music.

Bichan has won awards for her compositions and playing, and has traveled far and wide to perform in various line ups since a young age. She has appeared at the likes of the BBC TV’s Hogmanay Live show, Edinburgh Castle, Reading Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Lorient Interceltique Festival, Milwaukee Irish Festival and Sligo Live festival. Fiddler, composer, producer and educator, Darol Anger is at home in a number of musical genres, some of which he helped to invent. Exceptional among modern fiddlers for his versatility and depth, Anger has helped drive the evolution of the contemporary string band through his involvement with numerous pathbreaking ensembles such as his Republic Of Strings, the Turtle Island String Quartet, the David Grisman Quintet, Montreux, his Duo with Mike Marshall, and others.

The kitchen is rolling out a German sausage, potato, and sauerkraut stew with whole grain mustard, and the Vinyl Wagon crew will be spinning in the Beer Hall from 5-9. Grand Rapids, Michigan-based musician Mark Lavengood picked up the dobro in the mid-2000s and in the time since his introduction to the instrument has performed and instructed dobro on local, regional, national & international levels, winning the prestigious dobro competition at the renowned Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2012. In addition to Telluride, Mark has given workshops at notable festivals like Celtic Connections, World of Bluegrass at IBMA, Pagosa Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Wheatland Music Festival, Blissfest, and a laundry list of folk and roots music festivals of esteem.This free show will be on the lawn and will follow COVID safety regulations.
