It’s what we’ve been waiting for all summer! It’s finally time to enjoy a local music festival at Goshen Brewing Company!
Join us for a socially-distanced concert on the parking lot at GBCo. You’ll be able to reserve spots for groups of up to 2, 4, or 6 people. Tickets go on sale Friday, 8/21 at noon on the GBCo website. Tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.
Bring a mask, lawn chairs, and your own food. We will have cans of GBCo beer for sale. Please NO tents, grills, or outside alcohol. People must stay in their reserved spots during the concert and GBCo staff will deliver the beer to your group.

Avant Garde Cellist and vocalist Jordan Hamilton merges musical styles to tell stories of the human experience through a variety of musical genres. Also a member of Last Gasp Collective and the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Jordan can be found performing primarily in the Midwest where he has opened for national acts such as Eric Roberson and Nappy Roots. His most recent release “My Thoughts are” is a compilation of thoughts that express themselves in Hip Hop, Folk, and soul music.

From their bio: Setiawan has won such accolades as the 2014 National Mandolin Championship, the 2017 RockyGrass Mandolin Championship and has shared the stage with the likes of Julian Lage, Darrell Scott, Bryan Sutton, Mike Marshall, Tony Trischka, Darol Anger, Casey Driessen, the Steel Wheels, Don Stiernberg, Matt Flinner, and Jacob Jolliff.
Bichan has won awards for her compositions and playing, and has traveled far and wide to perform in various line ups since a young age. She has appeared at the likes of the BBC TV’s Hogmanay Live show, Edinburgh Castle, Reading Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Lorient Interceltique Festival, Milwaukee Irish Festival and Sligo Live festival. In 2016 she released her first solo album, Out of My Own Light, to great acclaim.”
Fiddler, composer, producer and educator, Darol Anger is at home in a number of musical genres, some of which he helped to invent. Exceptional among modern fiddlers for his versatility and depth, Anger has helped drive the evolution of the contemporary string band through his involvement with numerous pathbreaking ensembles such as his Republic Of Strings, the Turtle Island String Quartet, the David Grisman Quintet, Montreux, his Duo with Mike Marshall, and others.

Join us the day after Christmas for our annual Mug Club kickoff celebration! Wear your flannel and enjoy beer releases around a cozy fire. The kitchen is rolling out a German sausage, potato, and sauerkraut stew with whole grain mustard, and the Vinyl Wagon crew will be spinning in the Beer Hall from 5-9. Head downtown Goshen to see ice sculptures and fire dancers, and visit downtown shops and restaurants during the Fire and Ice Festival! Ice carvers will turn 45 ice blocks into 30 separate pieces of art throughout the downtown, including live carving at GBCo.

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based musician Mark Lavengood picked up the dobro in the mid-2000s and in the time since his introduction to the instrument has performed and instructed dobro on local, regional, national & international levels, winning the prestigious dobro competition at the renowned Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2012. In addition to Telluride, Mark has given workshops at notable festivals like Celtic Connections, World of Bluegrass at IBMA, Pagosa Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Wheatland Music Festival, Blissfest, and a laundry list of folk and roots music festivals of esteem.This free show will be on the lawn and will follow COVID safety regulations.

The Goshen Beer Run .5k is back this summer! Don’t miss the point. It’s a .5 k event. It’s just a bit over a half mile “run”. Saunter, skip, jump, dance, frolick, sashay, cruise, crawl, or roll in your chair. We really mean everything except actually running. Dress up in your favorite summer outfit or costume and take a trip downtown Goshen. There will be a group leaving Goshen Brewing and a group leaving the Elephant Bar. The waves will meet in the middle for some fun in the sun.
