GBCo. EVENTS
The definitive list of what’s happening at the brewery.

“The Wallens have brought their close-knit harmony vocals and storytelling to Australia, Europe, and across the US at events like the Telluride Blues Fest. Originally hailing from Kentucky, Molly is a classically-trained vocalist and percussionist with experience in opera and bluegrass alike. Hoosier guitarist/vocalist Brian Keith Wallen won 2nd place in the 2015 International Blues Challenge and was also named “Artist of the Year” by the Starr-Gennett Foundation.
Incorporating elements of blues, bluegrass, gospel, and folk, their combined influences range from acoustic favorites like Jason Isbell and John Prine to the guitar-driven blues of John Mayer and Bonnie Raitt. Whether at a house concert, festival, or brewpub, their foot-stomping energy brings a fresh dimension to roots music.” -The Wallens bio

Join us for our free Wednesday Music Series! Crooked Root is melding roots music; (singer/songwriter, blues, country and R&B) into a recognizable yet refreshing and memorable direction. Their goal: create and perform music that refreshes the soul! Crooked Root is Joe Ferguson vocal/harmonica, Matt Landon vocal/guitar, Eric Busch percussion and Billy LaValley songwriter/bass.

Is it folk music with a little extra groove, or is it bluegrass music with righteous rock beats? Regardless of description, The Tumbleweed Jumpers are a monster of a folk-rock-Americana band–a bristling, roaring, dancing, skipping, jamming monster full of infectious melodies, and we’re brewing a beer in honor of this amazing group. Join us for the Tumblewheat IPA release, (this time a variant with peach and ginger!) and a great show!
Here Nor There is a multi-genre four-piece band based in Indiana. Their catalogue features rock-funk-bluegrass and much, much more in both original music and covers.

Join us for Sunday evening music on the lawn, courtesy of The Fury!
From their bio: “The Fury is a straight ahead, honest American rock and roll band from the heartland. Fueled by raw emotion and high energy riffs, they are often compared stylistically to the bluesy bands of the late 60s and 70s. The Fury blazes a new trail with a fresh, modern approach to a style reminiscent of bands like Free, Cream, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Mountain and more recently Rival Sons.”

From their bio: “The Rough & Tumble are as easy to detect as a stray dog on your doorstep– and as difficult to send home. The dumpster-folk, thriftstore-Americana duo, consisting of Mallory Graham & Scott Tyler, have been hobbling around the country in their 16’ camper since 2015. They picked up a couple of actual strays along the way– two 100lb dogs, Puddle & Magpie Mae– and have been making themselves at home in living rooms, bars, theaters, and festivals across the country.
“Their Americana music is restorative, their performance highly entertaining, their orchestra of unusual instruments intriguing, and… jokes and stories are worthy of an HBO special.” (Linda Bolton, Cozy Cabin House Concerts).”

Join us in the Beer Hall for our free Wednesday Music series! fPaul draws a lot of influence from American roots music. He has a background firmly planted in blues and found the folky country songwriting style of writers like Gram Parsons, Jason Isbell, and Jackson Browne really lit a fire inside him for telling stories through song. Paul is a seasoned guitar player with his roots in the farmlands of southern Indiana. The country sounds of Indiana blend well with his early blues influences.

Clark’s continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going knowing that his Christmas bonus is due soon.

Described as, “peace, love, and a giant crowbar,” Patty PerShayla has a gritty, yet sweet singing voice, and has both explosive and tender moments in her performance. Patty’s solo act includes three segments: upbeat, rhythmic folk on acoustic guitar to start, followed by ballads and reimagined grunge favorites on ukulele, and ending with a vintage-inspired electric guitar set, exploring blues and gloomier arrangements of classic rock songs. Patty brings to the stage a strutting, stomping, crooning good time that you won’t be able to ignore.
